Bio: Justin is a co-owner and hands on operators of Downstream Construction LLC, he was born into the world of building. Quickly learning his father’s trade as a carpenter, while concurrently harboring his mother’s talents as an artist. Justin continued to hone in on his craft, by working with other highly skilled finish carpenters and traditional timber framers. His artistic knack for creative design and woodworking has brought new life to many projects, and has paved the way for the new direction that Downstream has pointed towards.
- What was the best vacation you’ve gone on and why?
A climbing trip to Peru in 2013. I was able to push myself well outside of my physical and mental comfort zone and create life-long memories with some incredible friends. - Who has been a big inspiration in your life and why?
My Grandfather, he showed me the power of hard work and what dedication really means. - What’s your favorite hobby?
Although I spend all of my free time running now, I would still have to say Mountaineering. - Share your favorite quote and what it means to you.
“We all have our bears to cross.” I used to just think of it as a funny twist of a classic phrase, but over time it grew a significant meaning to me. We will meet a lot of different people in our lives, some more enjoyable than others, and we need to make sure we cherish the good ones. - Share your favorite book and why it inspires you.
